About Me

Hello, I’m Alison (and this is my wonderful family)!

Hey folks! Thanks for checking out Moving Mountains With Motherhood.

I’m a wife, a mother, a pet owner, and a college graduate. I love spending time with my family, binge watching Netflix, and crafting. I am a complete neat freak and definitely an introvert.

Most days you will catch me wearing a t-shirt, no makeup, and rocking a messy bun. Fashion is not my area of expertise, but I’m totally fine with that. I will probably have a cup of coffee in my hand, a baby on my hip, and a toddler hanging on my leg.

There are so many great things going on in my life. I have so many things to be grateful for. My husband is my high school sweetheart, and the father to my two beautiful children.

Shortly after getting pregnant with my first child, we decided it would be best if I was a stay-at-home mom after he was born. Only a short 14 months later, and my second child was born.

Most days are complete chaos having two under two. However, this chaos is topped off with sticky kisses, silly games, cuddle sessions, and plenty of laughs.

I get to spend so much time making memories with my children, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. This time that I get to spend with my children everyday has inspired me to make the most out of what motherhood has to offer.

I’ve learned to take a deep breathe during the temper tantrums, laugh at the mess, and make the most out of every experience I share with my kids.

Being pregnant and starting a family can be a terrifying and confusing time. I started this blog to be able to share parenting tips, tricks, hacks, and secrets to inspire all mothers out there to make every moment with their children count.

I hope when reading my blog, you will appreciate my honesty, laugh at my (not so funny) jokes, and get inspired to move mountains with motherhood.
